Mectronic Instruments Ltd (MIL) was established in 1972 to manufacture precision machined components and waveguide assemblies, since when we have built up a reputation for producing intricate components to exceptionally high standards.

Our broad customer base includes the gas, offshore, power generation, textile, communications, defence and aerospace industries.

We aim to respond quickly and efficiently to customers' requirements and can offer scales of production from one-off prototypes to high-volume production.

MIL specialise in the manufacture of rigid waveguide assemblies and microwave components, involving aluminium brazing, silver soldering and highly skilled machining. We also provide expertise in the assembly of components for complete products and in the manufacture of special-purpose instruments and machines.

Quality is the 'password' at MIL, where we work to the BS EN ISO 9002 Quality Management System. Our fully qualified staff carry out in-process and final inspections using the latest digital metrology equipment, in accordance with the Company's comprehensive quality manual.

Our policy of continuing investment in new technology has resulted in an extensive range of CNC and conventional milling, turning, drilling and grinding equipment. Our multi-skilled, committed workforce is encouraged to strive for continuous improvement, resulting in increased productivity and cost reductions.
